I know why there is so much busy time surrounding a wedding. If there weren't the parents would have too much time to think...
You stay so busy, and then the rehearsal makes it real. The music starts and the bride is standing in the back of the church. She is beautiful, but only a hint of the beauty she will display tomorrow. The groom comes out, standing tall and straight, looking handsome, but again only a hint of what tomorrow will hold.

The preparations are done, everyone is dressed and ready and then we go.
Grandmothers, mothers, bridesmaids, flower girl---so precious!
Groomsmen, Bestman, pastors, groom...
There she is in the back of the church..so beautiful with her father, he hands her to my son.
A few minutes later, her grandfather and his father have pronounced them Husband and Wife.
They begin their journey, traveling on as one.
As parents we step back, God has blessed their union...
